Roble Shipping receives its first newbuild RoPax ferry
FerryChina’s Taizhou Hongtai Shipbuilding has delivered MOTHER IMMACULATE STARS to Philippine ferry operator Roble Shipping Lines (Roble Shipping Inc.). The 6,531-GT MOTHER IMMACULATE STARS is the company’s first purpose-built RoPax ferry for its services from Cebu City.
MOTHER IMMACULATE STARS has an overall length of 91.5 metres and a beam of 19.8 metres. Its capacity of up to 1,000 passengers is accommodated across two full-length passenger decks. The main machinery comprises two Ningdong G6300ZC medium-speed engines, providing a service speed of 13.5 knots.
Over the past three years, Taizhou Hongtai Shipbuilding has delivered five newbuild RoPax ferries to Philippine and Indonesian operators.
