Port of Trelleborg to introduce shore power in 2026
PortOnshore power facilities are being installed in Port of Trelleborg’s berths no. 10 and 11. Some work and connections remain, but in early 2026, TT-Line will be able to connect four of their vessels to onshore electricity in the Port of Trelleborg. The port’s two own wind turbines will supply the vessels with fossil-free electricity.
The Port of Trelleborg has been granted co-financing in the EU’s Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Facility (AFIF) in the Baltic Green NET project.
