Ponant signs MoA with Fincantieri to build two cruise ships for its Paul Gauguin Cruises brand

CruisePonant has signed a EUR 300 million memorandum of agreement (MoA) with Fincantieri to design and build two 11,000gt, 230-passenger capacity luxury expedition cruise ships, due for delivery in 2022. To be built by Fincantieri-controlled VARD, the MoA includes an option for one more ship of the same class.
