P&O Ferries has discontinued its Calais-Tilbury freight-only service

Ro-roOwing to lower than expected demand, P&O Ferries has pulled the plug on its Calais-Tilbury freight-only service operated by the chartered 1,625-lanemetre CAROLINE RUSS. P&O Ferries is also blaming the protracted industrial action of French state railway operator SNCF, but according to the ship’s AIS signal, CAROLINE RUSS already stopped sailing before Christmas.
