PATRIA SEAWAYS on an extended tour of Stena Line’s route network

FerryDFDS’s 1,800 lanemetre RoPax PATRIA SEAWAYS is continuing its charter to Stena Line through the end of March, alternating as a replacement first for STENA SCANDINAVICA and then STENA GERMANICA on the Gothenburg-Kiel route while both ferries undergo scheduled dry-dockings at Remontowa in Gdansk.

Following its service on the Gothenburg-Kiel route, PATRIA SEAWAYS operates on Stena Line’s Karlskrona-Gdynia route, substituting for STENA SPIRIT during its planned docking.

From 26 February to 11 March, PATRIA SEAWAYS replaces Stena Line’s STENA FLAVIA on the Liepaja-Travemünde route. During the remainder of March, Stena Line is using PATRIA SEAWAYS between Gothenburg and Frederikshavn while STENA DANICA undergoes its scheduled dry-docking.

Common to all of PATRIA SEAWAYS’ stand-in assignments on Stena Line routes is that the DFDS vessel is being operated purely as a freight ferry, meaning it is used exclusively within Stena Line’s freight schedules.
