NORDLICHT II delivered to AG EMS
High-speedThe 46m long and 450-passenger capacity catamaran ferry NORDLICHT II has been delivered to AG EMS from the Kim Seah Shipyard in Indonesia, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Penguin International.
The ferry which is based on the Incat Crowther 46 design, is due to enter service on 3 July between Cuxhaven and Helgoland, a route operated by Reederei Cassen Eils, an AG Ems group company.
Later in the year, NORDLICHT II will appear on AG Ems’s route between Emden and Borkum, where the company has operated a fast ferry alongside its ships since Fjellstrand 38.8m catamaran NORDLICHT entered service in 1989.
