MSC Group launches luxury cruise brand - construction of first 461-suite ship already started

CruiseMSC Group is tapping into the luxury cruise market following the launching of a new brand known as Explora Journeys. Aimed at the next-generation of discerning luxury travellers, Explora Journeys will introduce four purpose-designed luxury cruise vessels to be delivered by Italian builders Fincantieri in 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026. In fact, construction of the lead ship, the 63,900gt EXPLORA I, already commenced today, 10 June, following first steel cutting at Fincantieri’s Monfalcone shipyard.
