Corsica Linea signs a contract with Stena RoRo for E-Flexer

FerryA contract has been signed between Corsica Linea and Stena RoRo for a new LNG-powered E-Flexer. This 13th E-Flexer will enter service in March 2026 for Corsica Linea and will be chartered with a purchase option. The selected shipyard will again be CMI Jinling Weihai, China.

"The arrival of this second new LNG vessel in the fleet is a strong signal that is in line with the ambitious course set for the coming years: to become the most modern shipping company in the Mediterranean by 2030. It is the most modern because it is the most efficient in terms of customer satisfaction, the most committed to the environmental transition and the most exemplary in terms of its social commitment," says Pierre-Antoine Villanova, CEO of CORSICA linea.

"This ship is a further development of our previous ro-pax concepts, where the focus on sustainability and future-proofing has been a top priority and we are honored to be a part of Corsica Linea´s dedicated strategy to reduce their carbon footprint through concrete actions" says Per Westling, Managing Director, Stena RoRo."
