FerryBridgemans Services Group (Bridgemans), a provider of integrated marine workforce accommodation solutions, announced the addition of the MEGA X to its growing global fleet of floatels. MEGA X is the former MEGA EXPRESS FIVE of Corsica Ferries.
The Bridgemans Floatel features 275 cabins and is currently undergoing a comprehensive refit to incorporate the company’s signature workforce accommodation amenities, including a fully equipped gym, office spaces, recreation areas, and a large vehicle deck designed for the storage of client-required cargo.
MEGA X is purpose-configured to meet the increasing global demand for early works workforce accommodations, supporting large-scale industrial LNG and energy construction projects worldwide.
The refit is scheduled for completion within January, following which the vessel will mobilize to her first project, commencing in the Spring.
“I am extremely proud of our refit team. Having just successfully delivered the SAGA X to a landmark LNG project in Canada, they have transitioned seamlessly to the MEGA X project just one month later. Their speed and precision are a testament to why we have the best team in the industry,” said Brian Grange, President & CEO of Bridgemans Services Group.
