Bornholmslinjen sets another record
FerryIn 2025, a total of 2,036,417 passengers travelled to and from Bornholm on Bornholmslinjen’s ferries. This is the highest number of passengers ever recorded in a calendar year. Last year’s record stood at 2,005,564 passengers, which was the first time the ferries carried more than two million passengers - an increase of 1.5% for Bornholmslinjen.
A total of 597,380 cars were carried on the ferries, also the highest figure ever and 3.2% more than last year, when 578,806 cars were transported. The number of trucks amounted to 49,672. The increase comes even though in 2025 the ferries were scheduled to operate 70 fewer sailings than in 2024 on the main route between Rønne and Ystad.
