Wärtsilä in partnership with Cavotec has successfully installed the world’s first automatic wireless induction charging system on Norled’s hybrid ferry FOLGEFONN. Testing was carried out on the 85m double-ender between August and September.

At a price of USD 300,000, KeyMar LLC acquires the ferry TAKU from The Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities (ADOT&PF).
QUEEN OF NANAIMO handed over to new owners
Retired from the BC Ferries fleet earlier this summer, the 1964-built QUEEN OF NANAIMO has now been handed over to her new owners, Goundar Shipping Limited of the Fiji Islands.
