STENA FORETELLER Cargo Increase Conversion Complete
Ro-roStena RoRo has taken delivery of the STENA FORETELLER from the Chinese shipyard CMI Weihai, and the vessel is now en route to replace the STENA FORERUNNER, which will also undergo conversion.
This spring, Stena RoRo oversaw the conversion of the STENA FORETELLER, operated by Stena Line, set to begin service in mid-July on the Europort (Rotterdam) – Immingham route.
By adding an extra cargo deck, the load capacity has increased by 30%, reducing emissions per unit load. A fourth cargo deck was added above the existing three, increasing lane meters from 3,000 to 4,000.
KNUD E. HANSEN has carried out the design tender package for the conversions.
