NURA NOVA awarded to Trasmapi
FerryFormentera Cargo, a company of the Trasmapi group has been awarded the small 3,134 gross tonnage ro-pax NURA NOVA at an auction in Palma de Mallorca yesterday.
Trasmapi operates high-speed ferries between Ibiza and Formentara.
The ship has a certificate for the transport of dangerous goods, which makes it logic for the company to acquire her.
Balearia was also interested but came up with a lower bid.
NURA NOVA was the last ship of the ill-fated Iscomar group. This company closed down in September.
