Shippax News Bulletin – 31

- In association with Interferry

Dear Subscriber,

Please find herewith the headlines of the news added to the Shippax website during the weeks 28, 29, 30, 31.

Photo above: It appears business as usual in the port of Piraeus, at least when it comes to the number of ships at berth on a typical summer morning. Don’t get fooled as ferries are sailing at reduced passenger capacity with the tourist sector on the islands complaining that tourists from abroad haven’t found their way back to Greece, one of the countries in Europe that has been least affected by COVID-19. Thanks to the staycation effect, Greeks are now discovering islands that are normally flooded by Chinese tourists, Santorini probably being the best example. (PHOTO: LAURENS HOLTHOF)

Have a nice weekend!
