TS Laevad Advances Green and Digital Ferry Operations with Shore Power Tests and Digital Logbooks

TS Laevad has launched a two-week shore power test at the Port of Virtsu and transitioned to fully digital logbooks across its fleet. Despite the delay of a fifth hybrid ferry from 2024 to 2028, these tests ensure port and crew readiness for greener technologies. As of 22 April 2025, TS Laevad replaced paper logbooks with a digital system developed with Blueflow Energy Management AB, enhancing operational efficiency and supporting environmental goals, as highlighted by Guldar Kivro, TS Laevad board member.
