Azores stint for AQUA JEWEL
The Seajets-owned AQUA JEWEL will be chartered by Atlânticoline for the 2018 summer season, serving the Azores island chain, except Corvo.
Maiden voyage for CLdN’s DELPHINE

National Ferries Company sells high-speed catamaran
Omani state-owned operator National Ferries Company has sold Austal Auto Express' 65 metre catamaran SHINAS to Hanil Express in South Korea. The ro-pax is one of two that entered service in Oman in 2008.

The Scottish Government will fund a feasibility study of the idea to build a hydrogen-powered ferry for the Scottish Western Isles.

EIB and ING provide EUR 300 million to finance green shipping
The European Investment Bank (EIB) and ING have signed an agreement to support green investments for the European shipping market for a total value of EUR 300 million. ING and EIB will each contribute EUR 150 million to the facility. This agreement will ensure that sponsors of green and sustainable projects in the maritime transport sector can benefit from advantageous financial terms.
