Alteza Cruises is the name of a newborn Argentinian cruise operator that will reportedly commence ‘all-inclusive’ cruises with a single ship, MED QUEEN, on 20 December.

A second cruise ship for Victory Cruise Lines

The newly acquired cruise ship, to be named VICTORY II (ex- SEA DISCOVERER), is a sister ship to the one currently in operation, VICTORY 1. With its 91m length and 5,000 gt she will be able to carry 202 passengers when she will be put in service on 20 May, 2018, after some refurbishments and upgrades are made.

First half results of operación paso del estrecho – ‘OPE’

The 2017 version of the ‘OPE’ reached its halfway point on 31 July. This three months campaign concerns the operation of various Spanish ports from Tarifa in the southwest to Alicante in the east, serving Moroccan and Algerian destinations, with some 2.8 million passengers making their way back to their original homeland for the summer holidays.
