DISNEY WONDER: the first cruise ship to use the Panama Canal’s new expanded lock

CruiseDisney Cruise Line’s DISNEY WONDER became the first cruise ship to use the new expanded locks in the Panama Canal when she made a southbound transit on April 29, while on a cruise between Port Canaveral and San Diego. While other cruise vessels have transited the canal this year, they all have used the older sets of locks.
