SOL acquires ro-ro trio
Ro-ro Swedish Orient Lines (SOL) have acquired the disponent ownership from Viking Supply AS of the three ro-ro vessels TRANSPULP, TRANSTIMBER and TRANSPAPER. The ships will be renamed THULELAND, TUNDRALAND and TAVASTLAND.
The three ice class super ro-ro vessels were built at Aker Finnyards, Rauma in 2006 and 2007. They will continue to run on time charter to Stora Enso between ports in Northern Finland (Oulu/Kemi), Lübeck, Göteborg, Zeebrugge and Tilbury.
